Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers, who reportedly shot and killed the gunman during the brazen shooting in Ottawa, was lauded by MPs on Thursday.  Meanwhile, many public servants have returned to work as Ottawa seeks return to normalcy. Despite security lockdown and rows of police tapes, the first couple and top political echelons offered their respect to the fatally shot solider, sending a strong message that Canada won’t be intimidated by terrorists.
